Swimming Pool Pâquis

Having crossed the footbridge leading to the Pâquis Baths, you encounter a typically Genevan atmosphere.

This unique site, located in the heart of the Rade, is indeed a fine example of cosmopolitan Geneva where young and old alike, dynamic businessmen as well as artists, students, mothers and many others meet.

In addition to a famous snack bar, the Baths also offer superb sauna facilities, various bathing areas and diving boards.

The infatuation for the Baths is not new: they were opened to the public back in 1932. Also note that a referendum organised in 1988 by its patrons in order to preserve and renovate the site was approved by 72% of the voting population!
